I have run my own bookkeeping and management accountancy business
since 1987. Prior to that I worked as an accountant in commerce.
I am a part-qualified accountant. I
specialise in bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll and training
on Sage 50. My clients have an end of year accountant who handles
corporation and personal tax, and the filing of accounts. I see my
role as the day-to-day virtual accounts department.
I work mainly from my office, with an
accounts assistant. I visit clients occasionally, and to train them on
Sage 50. I have to be in my office most of the time so that I am
available should a client have a query.
I have dealt with all sorts of
complicated bookkeeping issues using Sage over the years. This enables
me to answer SOS calls from companies who discover all sorts of
dreadful messes left by well meaning but badly trained staff.
Almost every company I work for needs an
individual service, because I am working for the people that
run those companies, and they all have their own style. So I tailor my
service to your requirements.
I would describe my style of work as
fast and efficient, but I have a sense of humour and I like to look
after the companies I work for. My clients know that if I don’t have
an answer to a question I will know someone who does.
